Timber trail - Mountain Bike Packages - All Self Guided
KOKAKO PACKAGE - 2 DAYS 2 NIGHTS
Experience the thrill of finishing one of New Zealand's best mountain bike rides through pristine native bush with stunning vista views and amazing bird life. The 45 km Timber Trail is fast becoming the premier bike ride with many enthusiasts returning to ride the trail time and time again. Everything is provided in this package including bike hire, shuttles, packed lunches, chalet accommodation for 2 nights oplus 2 breakfasts. Dinner can be supplied (optional) or you can dine at a local cafe by arrangement.
Arrive day one in the afternoon and stay the night in your chalet accommodation. Next morning after breakfast, ride the first half of the trail and be collected at the half way point at Piropiro by our shuttle to bring you back to your Chalet to enjoy another peaceful night at Pa Harakeke. Take the shuttle back to Piropiro the next morning and complete the second leg of the trail. We collect you at the end of the trail at Ongarue and shuttle you back to youyr vehicle at Pa Harakeke. You then continue on your journey.
2 Days Bike Ride - 2 Nights Chalet Accommodation

For those on a tight schedule enjoy a magnificent day on the Timber Trail riding the 45 km second leg called the "Ongarue Spiral", with stunning vista views, pristine native bush and amazing bird life to keep you company. The package includes bike hire, packed lunches, shuttle rides, chalet accommodation and breakfast. Dinner can be supplied or you can dine at a local cafe by arrangement.
Arrive on Day 1 in the afternoon and settle into your Chalet accommodation. Next morning after breakfast, we shuttle you, your bikes and lunch packs to the starting point at Piropiro. You then ride the 45km leg of the Timber Trail known as the "Ongarue Spiral". We collect you at the end of the ride at Ongarue and shuttle you back to your vehicle at Pa Harakeke. You then continue on your journey.
1 Day Bike Ride - 1 Night Chalet Accommodation
Cost $225 per person for 2 people
Other options including staying on the trail a night at Piropiro in Tent accommodation are also available.
KIWI PACKAGE - 2 DAYS 2 NIGHTS
Ride the Timber Trail and mix it up with luxury chalet accommodation one night and sleep under the stars the second night.
Day 1 - Arrive and stay the night in a luxury chalet at Pa Harakeke.
Day 2 - Ride the first leg of the Timber Trail – 40kms
-Arrive at Piropiro Flats camping ground with your tent pitched for you, mattress, table/chair combo, gas cooker and 20ltrs of clean water all supplied
-Your baggage, food, utensils and sleeping bag delivered to the site for you
-Spend the night under the stars
Day 3 -Ride the second leg of the trail – 45kms
-We pack down your camp site and transfer all of your baggage back to Pa Harakeke for your collection
-Be met by our shuttle driver at the end of the trail at Ongarue and be transferred back to your vehicle at Pa Harakeke
